Apple Pound Tart

Ingredients

    • 6 fresh apples
    • 3 eggs
    • 3/4 cup of sugar
    • 3/4 Cup of flour
    • 1 splash vanilla
    • 1/2 tsp of baking powder
    • 1 Tbsp of powder sugar

How to make an Apple Pound Tart:

  • In a mixer, beat together 3 eggs and 3/4 cup of sugar
  • Add in a splash of vanilla, and 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • Turn on to low speed and add in 3/4 cups of flour, mix it all together
  • Peel and slice the apples
  • Spray a tart or cake pan and place apple slices on the bottom of the pan.

  • Pour the batter over the apples.

  • Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes at 350F.
  • Once finished baking, flip it over onto a plate so the apples are on top.
  • Let it cool down for 10 mins then sift some powdered sugar on top
