  • 3 cups (crushed)  of animal cookies
  • 1 3/4 of chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup of Sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of unsalted butter (2 sticks)
  • 3 Tablespoon Cocoa
  • Plastic Wrap

Chocolate Kielbasa


  • Crush animal crackers into a bowl, you can break them with hand or a food processor. Not to small pieces.
  • To the cookie bowl add 1 3/4 cup of chopped walnuts

  • In a sauce pan melt 2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter
  • Sift sugar and cocoa, add to the butter
  • Bring to a boil, take off heat
  • Stir in one by one eggs, and mix very fast after each egg

  • Pour into the walnut and cookies
  • Mix all well together

  •  On a clean surface, take plastic wrap and cut off a square
  • Put 1/3 of the chocolate mix and with the help of plastic wrap form a sausage shape.  Make a knot at each end.

  • Make more kielbasa till mix is all used up
  • Put kielbasa into refrigerator  till becomes stiff, will take a few hours or best just leave over night. For faster results put in freezer.

  1. Is it ok to put eggs in it without cooking them?

    • The eggs are stirred into boiled sauce pan with butter and cocoa after you turn off the heat, the mixer is very hot when you put in the eggs. Meaning They don’t end up raw if that is what you are worried about.

  2. how much butter did you melt? I don’t see it in recipe but I see it in picture.
