Honey and Soy Sauce Chicken

Ingredients

    • 1.5 pounds chicken breast, cubed

 

    • black pepper

 

    • 5 Tablespoons honey

 

    • 5 Tablespoons soy sauce

 

  • 2 Tablespoons ginger spice

Directions: 

  • Wash the chicken and dry with a paper towel. Cut it in cubes. It’s a lot easier to cut chicken when it’s still slightly frozen.

  •  In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce and ginger. Whisk until well blended.

  • Place your chicken cubes into a large Ziploc bag, add in the marinade, squeeze the air out, and zip up the bag.
  • Coat the chicken with marinade by rubbing it.

  • Marinate for 30 minutes.  You can also marinade it overnight and cook it next day.
  • After 30 minutes, place the chicken on a baking sheet in a single layer.  Line the sheet with foil or for easier cleaning.

  • Pour the marinade over the chicken.
  • Bake at 400F for 15-20 minutes.
  • Tip:  While chicken is in the oven, you can prepare rice and vegetables.
