- 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk

- 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
What do I need to make the cream?
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 200g butter, softened
Directions for the batter:
- In a bowl of a stand mixer, mix together 1/2 can of condensed milk, 1 cup sour cream, and 3 eggs until the batter is evenly mixed.
- Then add 2 cups of flour and 1 tsp baking soda and mix again.
- Grease an 8-inch cake pan and pour in half the batter.
- For the second half of the batter, add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and mix well. Pour that into another 8-inch greased pan. Or, if you don’t have two pans you can bake them one at a time.
- Bake both the layers for 20 minutes each at 400F.
- Let the layers cool, then cut each one horizontally in two.
How to make the cream:
- Beat 200 grams of softened butter on high speed until fluffy, then add 1/2 can of condensed milk and mix well.
- Now you can start putting your cake together.
- Optional Step: If you like your cake moist, drizzle each layer with sweetened milk and let the layers absorb the liquid for 5 minutes before putting them together.
- Place the bottom part of the chocolate layer on a serving dish and spread with cream. Place white layer and repeat the process until you finish the layers.
- Spread the cream on the top and sides of the cake.
- Decorate the cake with chopped toasted walnuts.
- Let stand for 5-6 hours before serving.
