Beet Salad

Ingredients

    • 2 large beets
    • 3 garlic cloves
    • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
    • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
    • Salt to taste

 Directions: 

  • Wash the beets then boiling them for 40 minutes; or until you can easily pierce it with a fork.
  • If you prefer to bake it, wrap the beets in foil and bake at 380F for 1 hour, or until soft.

  • After beets have cooked and cooled, peel then grate into a medium-sized bowl.
  • Add chopped walnuts (instead of chopping, you may put walnuts into a food processor.)
  • Mince 3 garlic cloves and add to the bowl with beets and walnuts.
  • When ready to eat, mix all together with 1/4  cup mayonnaise and some salt to your taste.
  • It’s now ready to enjoy!
