This Mushroom Side Dish is a surefire way to elevate any meal. It’s the perfect side dish that comes together in 15 minutes and only requires 4 ingredients.
Mushrooms are a touchy subject. Either you love them, or you hate them. I don’t think I’ve met many people who are indifferent to this fungal delicacy. There are some strong emotions associated with mushrooms, am I right?
The question is: which side of the spectrum are you on? Do you hate them or love them?
I come from a family that absolutely loves mushrooms. We eat them as a side, we top our burgers with mushrooms, and we definitely don’t shy away from adding them onto pizzas. But if you’re someone who doesn’t really fancy mushrooms, give this recipe a try. It might just pull you onto the other side.
I make this Simple Mushroom Dish because
It’s so easy. Making an entree can sometimes take too much time. Having to add a side dish or two with it can be overwhelming. This is my go-to side dish because I can whip it up while I’m making my main dish.
I usually have all the ingredients at home. Maybe it’s the mushrooms I grab while running errands. But everything else? EVOO, salt, and onions? Yeah, I usually have that at home.
It is delicious. For a recipe that comes together in 15 minutes with only 4 ingredients, it sure does taste amazing.
It’s healthy! Mushrooms work wonders for our immune system. A tasty dish that gives our bodies some needed antioxidants? Talk about two birds one stone.
Try making this the next time you’re in a rut for a side dish! Or make this simple mushroom dish to elevate your homemade burgers!
