Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp poppy seeds
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar

This easy dressing recipe goes so well with kale salad, spinach salad, or any green salad. It has the right amount of sweetness and just enough of the tangy flavor from the apple cider to perfectly compliment leafy greens. It’s whisked up with just four ingredients, so you really can’t go wrong with it.

Combine the simple ingredients together in a bowl.

Whisk together well. Let it stand for 5 minutes before using (so the poppy seeds can moisten.)

How Long Does this Poppyseed Dressing last? 

It can stand in a sealed container for 1-2 days in the refrigerator but considering it’s made with just four ingredients, it’s better to make when you are ready to use right away.

If you are watching your sugar intake, you can still enjoy a low-sugar poppy seed dressing by adding less sugar, but I found that the apple cider vinegar balances the sugar amount in this recipe. However, you can also experiment with a natural sweetener, such as honey or maple syrup.
